How long should we allow?
The game itself runs for 60 minutes. Allow additional time for arrival, check-in and the pre-game briefing.
What if part of the group has never played?
No previous escape-room experience is required. Your host explains how the game works, and unlimited hints are available whenever a team wants help.
How do we choose a room for the birthday group?
Compare the age guidance, difficulty and theme on the room pages. Contact the local team before booking if you want help matching the experience to the group.
How many birthday guests can play?
Physical rooms have a suggested maximum of six players, and a larger physical-room team may be possible with advance approval. VR rooms have a hard maximum of four players. Multiple experiences or times may work for a larger group.
Is a party room available?
Yes. The Calgary party room seats about 10 people and is reserved by the hour for $50 plus GST. It must be booked alongside a physical escape room. Tables, chairs, cutlery and napkins are provided.
Can we bring food and decorations?
Yes. Outside food and customer-supplied decorations are welcome in the Calgary party room, with no decoration restrictions. Customers handle decorating and the Xperience Games team handles cleanup. There is no advance decorating time, so decorate during the reserved party-room period. Water and energy drinks are available for purchase.
